VATICAN IS CLOSED ON SUNDAYS (and religious holidays). Due to the Wow Tour's high request, we designed a Sunday experience when the Vatican is closed. With your guide, and your driver you will explore St. Peter's Square, Castel Sant' Angelo area and other marvelous sites like the Aventine hill; from its top, you enjoy spectacular views over the city. As an alternative we will prospose other museums or arcaeological sites!
LIMITED MOBILITY Ancient Rome area and Vatican Museums visits involve SIGNIFICANT WALKING. Please note that the pathway from the Sistine Chapel to St Peter’s Basilica has 50 steps downwards and is not wheelchair accessible. The tour can continue to the Basilica only if all members of your private group can walk down the stairs. Nevertheless you will see St. Peter's Square and the guide will explain the Basilica from the ourside. Also, note that other participants in your group will have to take charge of pushing the wheelchair.
ST. PETER'S BASILICA TICKETS: Please note that the Basilica stops selling skip-the-line tickets 3 days before the date. Therefore, you will not be able to skip the line directly from the Sistine Chapel to the Basilica. Nevertheless, if the lines are reasonable, the guide will be happy to get you in. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, which goes beyond our control. Instead of the Basilica tickets, according to availability, we will buy you skip-the-line tickets to the Pantheon, trusting that you will be pleased.
